Sunday Services at Crossroads Ferney
We have two identical services at 9.30 and 11.15 on Sunday mornings (with the exception of the holiday months of July and August when we hold one service at 10.00).
What to expect
We know visiting a new church for the first time can be a little daunting – particularly if you’ve never been to a church service before. So what can you expect from a Crossroads Ferney service?
a friendly welcome
a good programme for children and youth and a creche for babies which run while the main service is taking place
praise and prayer: services start with a time of singing. The songs are mostly contemporary, with a mix of hymns at times. Of course, you don’t have to sing if you don’t want to. Then we will pray for issues affecting our community, the church and the wider world
a bible based message by the pastor or a visiting speaker when we explore the word of God together, and what it means for us in our daily lives
an opportunity after the service to ask for prayer on any issue and to share a cup of tea or coffee when you can meet members of the congregations and make new friends
On the first Sunday of every month we take communion together. This is when we remember Christ’s sacrifice for us. Again, if you don’t want to participate in communion, you don’t have to.
One last thing; we are not just made up of those who have found personal faith. We have plenty of people with questions, doubts and hang-ups. If that describes you – you won’t feel out of place.
We’d love to see you at Crossroads Ferney. If you have any questions about church services, please don’t hesitate to contact us. And if you would like to receive our bi-weekly email of news please sign up here:
