Who we are

Are you new to the church or the area? If so, you are very welcome! Please do check out our New to Church page to get all the information about what goes on at our church.

Geneva is a unique sort of city. Located in the heart of Europe, it’s home to many of the world’s largest companies and international organisations. Over 180 different nationalities reside in Geneva – in fact, over half of the region holds a foreign passport. It’s also a transient city, with most people staying a few years for work or study, then moving on.

In the midst of all this is Crossroads – an English speaking, non-denominational church family. A community of people far from home (and locals as well) seeking to receive and reflect the love of Christ. So who are we, and what do we represent?

We are from all over the world – with well over 30 nationalities represented every Sunday.

We speak different languages – although our church services are held in English.

We share different cultures – but believe we are one family in Christ.

We have different theological perspectives - but share a common love for Jesus Christ and find our unity in Him.

We are mobile – almost none of us were born here, and few of us will stay for long.

We are missing - Geneva is a long way from home and many parts of ‘normal’ life are missing, so we depend on each other.

We have a mission – we are here in this place for a reason, to receive and reflect the love of Jesus Christ.

And of course, we would love you to join us.

We now have two churches: Crossroads Ferney and Crossroads Thoiry.

No matter who you are or where you’re from, we look forward to meeting with you as we seek to receive and reflect the love of Christ.
